Incubator space is great for web start-ups, but clean technology
ventures require places for entrepreneurs to get dirty, bend metal,
and make noise. At Greentown Labs they provide budding entrepreneurs
access to the facility, services, and research & development resources
needed to take their clean technology ventures to the next level.
Each year there are hundreds, if not thousands of graduating students
from top universities who are forced to make a decision about where to
launch their clean technology venture. Often, they chose to relocate
to regions ouside Boston and New England. Why aren’t more of them
staying local?
Greentown Labs believes New England is uniquely positioned to lead the
United States in clean energy innovation. The local Massachusetts
educated workforce, academic institutions, and political leadership
are second to none. Greentown Labs wants to play a part in helping
strengthen our local cleantech cluster by providing the facilities,
services, and resources early stage clean energy entrepreneurs need to
grow.
Meet new CEO, Executive Director, Emily Reichert, Ph.D. and Co-Founder
Jason Hanna and see why Greentown Labs is disrupting the clean tech
space.
